No courier is perfect, we don't hide behind that. Vehicles break down, roads get closed, accidents happen. If a parcel is delayed, misrouted, damaged or flagged we will usually see it quickly and work to resolve it.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How much is delivery?

Delivery is calculated at checkout once you enter your delivery address. The cost depends on your postcode or country, the items in your basket, parcel size, weight, courier availability and any special handling requirements.

We show the available delivery services and prices before you pay, with no need to enter an email address first.

When will my order be dispatched?

Orders containing items that are in stock and ready for immediate dispatch are normally dispatched quickly, subject to order cut-off times, courier collection and payment clearance.

If your order contains normal stock items or available to order items, dispatch will take place once the items have arrived with us and the order is ready to send.

What does “in stock — ready for immediate dispatch” mean?

This means the item is physically in stock with us and available to leave quickly, subject to order cut-off times and courier collection.

This is the fastest stock status and the one most suitable for express delivery options.

What does “normal stock item” mean?

A normal stock item is a regular high-turnover product line with very reliable supplier availability. These items may not always be physically on our shelf at the moment you order, but they are normally available to us quickly through our regular supplier network.

Because these parts move quickly through the supply chain, live supplier stock monitoring is not always practical or meaningful, but we are comfortable offering them through the website because supply is normally fast and reliable.

What does “available to order” mean?

Available to order means the item is usually available from our suppliers, but with a stated lead time. The product page will normally show an estimated dispatch time, such as “dispatched promptly, typically X–Y working days”.

Dispatch takes place once the item has arrived with us and the order is complete.

Why can’t I see Next Working Day or Saturday delivery?

We only show delivery services that we expect to be suitable for your order.

Express and Saturday delivery options may be hidden if your basket contains items that are not physically in stock, oversized parts, liquids, batteries, supplier-direct items, restricted goods, or products that cannot be delivered using that service.

This helps prevent customers paying for a delivery option we may not be able to fulfil.

Does Next Working Day delivery mean I will definitely receive my order tomorrow?

Next Working Day delivery refers to the courier service used once the order is ready to dispatch. It does not mean every item on the website is physically in stock or can leave immediately.

For the fastest service, check that all items in your basket are marked as in stock — ready for immediate dispatch and that the express option is shown at checkout.

Do you offer free delivery?

Yes, free mainland UK delivery is available on qualifying orders over £99 including VAT.

Some items may be excluded because of size, weight, supplier-direct dispatch, special courier requirements or delivery location. The checkout will show whether your order qualifies once your address has been entered.

Can I rearrange my delivery after dispatch?

Once your order leaves us our couriers will contact you with delivery times and options.

DPD make this very easy - you can change the delivery day or nominate a safe place.  You can do this by responding to their email or if you have the DPD app this is even easier.

DHL also offer these options though their system is less consumer-orientated.

Do you deliver to Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands, Islands and remote areas?
Yes, but the available services may differ from mainland UK delivery. Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands, Islands, Isle of Wight and other remote areas may require different courier services or longer transit times. Enter your delivery address at checkout and the available options will be shown for your order.
Can I collect my order from Twinwoods 4x4?
Yes, collection is welcome by prior arrangement. We are an online Land Rover parts business, not a walk-in shop with fixed public opening hours, so please contact us before travelling. Where possible, we can often arrange evening or weekend collections by agreement.
Do you deliver outside the UK?
Yes, we send many Land Rover parts worldwide using tracked international courier services, mainly DHL & DPD. International delivery is calculated at checkout based on your country, parcel size, weight and the items in your basket. Some items cannot be sent internationally, including many liquids, batteries, aerosols, oversized goods and restricted products.
Will I have to pay import duty, tax or customs charges?
For orders delivered outside the UK, import VAT, customs duty, clearance charges and local fees may be payable in your country. These charges are not controlled by Twinwoods 4x4 and are normally collected by the courier or local customs authority before delivery.
Can you deliver oils, fluids or batteries?
Some oils, fluids and batteries require special courier handling and may not be available with every delivery service. We usually send batteries direct from our supplier using their approved carrier. Oils and fluids can be sent within mainland United Kingdom only. We are restricted to DHL for this. Whilst this does cost more, we do not charge more. Any shipping paid is a contribution, it does not cover the cost of shipping.
Can I change my delivery address after ordering?
Contact us as soon as possible if you need to change your delivery address. If the order has not yet been dispatched, we may be able to update it. Once the parcel has been collected by the courier, address changes will not be possible.
What happens if my parcel is delayed?
No courier network is perfect, but we do not simply hide behind the courier. We monitor dispatched orders and will usually be able to see if a parcel is delayed, misrouted or has a delivery issue. If something goes wrong, we will work with the courier and keep the order moving wherever possible.
What should I do if my order arrives damaged?
Please contact us as soon as possible and keep the packaging until the issue has been reviewed. Photos of the parcel, packaging, courier label and damaged item are very helpful. We will use these to investigate the issue and resolve it as quickly as possible.
Do you deliver to PO Boxes?
Currently no. In the United Kingdom only Royal Mail can deliver to a PO Box, it is not intended to be a delivery address. Couriers, and even Parcelforce, cannot deliver to PO Boxes. Outside the UK it is not quite so straightforward, but our couriers cannot provide clear answers for every country. Therefore please use a full postal address for delivery. Orders using PO Boxes/parcel lockers as the delivery address will unfortunately not be able to be fulfilled.
