The range includes the high-capacity Hankook XV27 and Optima Yellow Top AGM batteries in two sizes. Battery capacity matters, but so do the available installation space, terminal layout and charging system.

Choosing a leisure or auxiliary battery
These are dual-purpose batteries rather than basic starter batteries. They combine engine-starting capability with better support for repeated auxiliary use, making them suitable for dual-battery systems and vehicles carrying additional electrical equipment.

A battery can have suitable capacity but still be wrong for the installation. Physical space, terminal arrangement, the electrical load being supplied and the charging system all need to be considered.
