Check the equipment specification before ordering
Electrical-system voltage, battery construction and engine size matter when selecting battery equipment. Specialist testing tools may instead depend on the exact vehicle, engine and component being checked.
Confirm that the tester or jump starter matches the vehicle’s 12V electrical system. Equipment intended for 12V vehicles must not be used on a 24V system.
Battery testers can support different lead-acid, AGM, Gel and EFB constructions and several battery-rating standards. Check the product specification against the battery label.
Compare the jump starter’s stated petrol and diesel engine ratings rather than selecting it from peak current alone.
The TD5 fuel pressure kit is made for Defender TD5 and Discovery 2 TD5 engines and is not a general electrical-system tester.
