Grease selection depends on the component, load, movement and operating conditions. Use a dedicated product where the job requires one, particularly for swivel housings, wheel bearings and brake caliper components.

Greases can differ in consistency, thickener, additives and intended component use. Two products described as grease are not automatically interchangeable, particularly where a dedicated bearing, brake or semi-fluid swivel housing grease is specified.
