If you make a genuinely good Land Rover part, tool, component or anything interesting to Land Rover owners we would be interested to hear about it.

You might already sell a few on eBay, through Facebook, from your own website or simply by word of mouth. You might make one specialist part or a whole range. You might be an established manufacturer or one person making small batches in a workshop. Or you might just have an idea and not be sure where to start.

You do not need a polished catalogue, trade price list or sales presentation. Show us what you make and we can have a conversation.

You make it. We can handle the selling.

Some people are very good at designing and making things but have little interest in building an ecommerce business around them. There is nothing wrong with that.

Twinwoods 4×4 already sells specialist Land Rover parts every day. For the right product and the right relationship, we may be able to take care of stocking, product presentation, photography, descriptions, online sales, order fulfilment and the customer-facing side of the business.

That leaves you to concentrate on what you are good at: making the product.

What are we interested in?

Anything genuinely worthwhile for Land Rover owners is worth showing us. It could be a specialist replacement part, an improved component, a workshop tool, a fabricated or machined part, something that is difficult to find, or something completely different that solves a real problem.

We are not looking for products simply because they are cheap. We are interested in products that are good, have a reason to exist and offer genuine value to the person buying them.

Where you are based does not particularly matter either. Good products and good working relationships can come from anywhere.

You do not need to have everything worked out

If you currently make something in small batches and sell a few yourself, that is enough to start a conversation.

You might already have the product exactly right. Equally, there may be opportunities around pricing, specification, packaging, presentation, stocking or simply getting it in front of more of the right people.

Sometimes people who are very good at making things do not realise quite how much value there is in what they have made. The cost of producing a part and the value of the problem it solves can be two very different things.

It has to work for everyone

A good product also has to make commercial sense. The manufacturer needs to make enough money for the product to remain worthwhile to produce. Twinwoods needs a fair margin to stock, sell and support it properly. The final price still needs to represent good value to the Land Rover owner buying it.

We are not interested in squeezing manufacturers for the lowest possible price. A product that stops being made because there was never enough money in it for the person making it is no use to anybody.

The best arrangements are the ones where the manufacturer, Twinwoods and the customer all get something worthwhile from them.

Already have a brand?

That is absolutely fine. We are happy to talk about established brands, specialist products already being sold under the manufacturer’s own name, exclusive products, manufacture for one of our existing brands, or something that has not yet made it beyond the workshop.

There is no single arrangement that everything has to fit into. We would rather see the product first and work out the rest afterwards.

Made something interesting?

Send us a link, a photo or simply a few words about what you make.

There is no formal application process and you are not committing yourself to anything. If it looks interesting, we will have a chat and see whether there is something worth doing together.
