Defender Puma 2.2 TDCI spin-on oil filter
This LR104384 oil filter is the later metal spin-on type fitted to Defender Puma 2.2 TDCI models from VIN DA444247 onwards. It is supplied as a MANN W7050 filter, making it a sensible branded choice for routine servicing rather than an unbranded service part.
The important point with Puma Defender oil filters is the filter type. Later 2.2 TDCI engines use this metal spin-on filter, while 2.4 TDCI and some early 2.2 vehicles use the earlier paper cartridge filter inside a reusable housing. If your engine has been replaced, check what is physically fitted before ordering, as some 2.4 vehicles may have the later spin-on oil filter housing.
