Description
DA3179PG is the OE-quality swivel repair kit for one side of a Defender non-ABS front axle from VIN XA onwards, covering TD5 and Puma TDCI models. It renews the bearing, seals, swivel pin parts, gaskets and shims without replacing a serviceable swivel ball. The kit includes swivel housing grease and uses OE-quality bearing and sealing components, normally from Corteco, Timken or equivalent manufacturers. GA3179PG is the matching equivalent reference.

This repair kit retains the existing swivel ball. Where the ball is pitted, corroded or badly marked, the DA3179G Defender non-ABS complete swivel housing kit includes a replacement swivel ball as well as the bearing, sealing and fitting components.

Warranty cover applies to manufacturing defects. It does not cover misuse, incorrect fitting, competition use unless stated, contamination, modification, damage during installation, normal wear and tear, or failure caused by an unrelated vehicle fault. For certain components, proof of professional fitment may be required.
Warranty claims may require the part to be returned for inspection and/or supplier testing before the claim is accepted. Any advance replacement is discretionary.
Warranty remedies relate to the part itself, meaning repair or replacement, or refund if those are not possible. Warranty does not cover labour, removal or refitting, diagnostics, consumables, travel or other incidental costs.
