100A 300TDI alternator replacement
AMR5425 is a 100A alternator for Land Rover 300TDI engines, fitting Defender 300TDI, Discovery 1 300TDI and Range Rover Classic 300TDI. It is the standard-output type fitted to many Discovery 1 and Range Rover Classic 300TDI models, and is also a useful upgrade for Defender 300TDI vehicles originally fitted with the lower-output 65A alternator.
A weak or failing alternator can cause poor battery charging, warning light issues, low voltage, slow starting after use, or electrical faults caused by an unstable charging supply. On vehicles with extra electrical loads, a 100A alternator is a sensible replacement choice where this fitment is required.
