AP Driveline brake bias valve for Defender 90 non-ABS models

This AP Driveline NTC8836G brake bias valve fits Land Rover Defender 90 non-ABS 300TDI and Td5 models from VIN LA930456 up to 2006 pre-Puma. It replaces the NTC8836 rear brake load-proportioning valve used to control rear brake pressure as vehicle load and suspension movement change.

Replace the brake bias valve if the original unit is leaking, seized, badly corroded or contributing to brake balance problems. A faulty valve can cause poor rear braking, premature rear brake lock-up, uneven braking or MOT brake imbalance issues.

This part is only for Defender 90 non-ABS models. It is not suitable for ABS-equipped Defenders, Defender 110 / 130 models or later Puma TDCI Defenders. Check the vehicle layout and VIN range before ordering, especially if the braking system has been modified in the past.
