Intermittent non-starts, dim lights, random warning chimes? This handheld tester removes the guesswork by measuring:
- Battery health & true CCA (100–2000 CCA and multiple standards) to tell you if the battery is good, needs charging or is due for replacement.
- Starter (cranking) test reporting live cranking voltage and cranking time.
- Charging test with ripple analysis so you can spot alternator/diode issues fast.
Perfect for the Land Rover toolkit and general workshop use—especially on vehicles that do lots of short trips or carry winches, fridges and auxiliary loads. Small enough to tuck away in the vehicle under a seat, in a cubby box or even a door pocket.
What it does at a glance
- Battery test with quick LED status (Green = Good, Yellow = Charge, Red = Bad).
- Selects industry standards: CCA, BCI, CA, MCA, JIS, DIN, IEC, EN, SAE, GB. Ranges typically 100–2000 (DIN/IEC/GB to 1400).

Quick start (2-minute test)
- Ignition OFF, connect red clamp to + and black to −. Tester powers up.
- Choose Battery Test → pick the standard stamped on your battery and enter the rated value (e.g., EN 850).
- View result + LED.
- For Cranking Test: select it and start engine when prompted; read cranking voltage/time.
- For Charging Test: follow prompts; the tool performs ripple checks under load.

Some products and brands may carry a longer warranty period where this is provided by the manufacturer. Where applicable, this will normally be stated on the individual product page.
The warranty covers manufacturing defects only and does not cover failure caused by incorrect fitting, misuse, accidental damage, normal wear and tear, or faults elsewhere on the vehicle.
Warranty claims may require the part to be returned for inspection and testing before any repair, replacement or refund is authorised.
