Description
Complete swivel housing kit for one side of the non-ABS front axle on early Defender models up to VIN KA930455. DA3167G includes a new swivel housing together with OE-quality bearings and seals, the upper swivel pin, retaining plate, gaskets, shims, joint washers and swivel housing grease. GA3167G is the equivalent kit reference.
The new swivel housing makes this the correct kit where the original chromed surface is pitted, rusty or scored. The main swivel seal needs a smooth surface to run against, so replacing the housing together with the bearings and sealing parts gives the rebuilt swivel a clean sealing face rather than fitting a new seal against a damaged original.
