Description
Complete Defender non-ABS swivel housing kit for one side of the front axle on VIN LA–WA vehicles, approximately 1994–1998. DA3178G includes a new swivel ball, upper swivel pin, OE-quality upper and lower swivel bearings, seals and retaining plate, gaskets, shims, joint washers and swivel housing grease. GA3178G is the equivalent kit reference.
The new swivel ball makes this the complete kit for a swivel where the original surface is pitted, corroded or scored. The main swivel seal runs against this surface, so replacing the damaged ball together with the bearings and sealing parts gives the rebuilt assembly a clean sealing face.
