Description
DA3164P is the 8mm-seal swivel repair kit for one side of a Discovery 1 or Range Rover Classic front axle. It renews the upper swivel pin, upper and lower bearings, main swivel seal, gaskets, preload shims, joint washers and related sealing parts while retaining a smooth and serviceable existing swivel housing and ball. GA3164P is the equivalent kit reference.
Worn swivel bearings can create movement at the hub, while a tired or damaged main seal allows grease or oil to work past the swivel housing. This kit brings together the principal bearing, sealing and setting parts required for the rebuild without adding a replacement housing and ball where the existing swivel surface remains fit for reuse.

Fitment Notes
This kit is for the 8mm swivel-seal arrangement. It is different from the DA3163P kit for axles using 12mm seals. Complete axles and swivel assemblies may have been changed during the life of an older vehicle, so confirm the seal size and housing arrangement currently fitted before ordering.
