Brake grease for Land Rover slider pins and caliper carriers
Cera Tec is a metal-free brake grease for brake installation, slider pins, caliper carriers and brake pad contact points. It is useful for Land Rover brake servicing where the caliper components need cleaning, lubricating and protecting during pad, disc or caliper work.
Used correctly, Cera Tec helps reduce brake squeal, protects against scoring and corrosion, and provides a pressure-resistant lubricant for brake contact areas. It is non-conductive, suitable for ABS systems, and free from copper and acids.
Thoroughly clean the slider pins, carriers and contact points before applying grease. Heavily corroded, pitted or seized slider pins should be replaced rather than simply greased. Apply only where brake assembly grease is required and keep grease away from friction surfaces such as brake pad material and disc faces.
Copper grease should not be used on brake slider pins. A proper brake assembly grease such as Cera Tec is a better choice for slider pins, caliper carriers and pad contact points during Land Rover brake servicing.
Cera Tec can also be used on battery terminals where a non-conductive, corrosion-protective grease is required.

Warranty cover applies to manufacturing defects. It does not cover misuse, incorrect fitting, competition use unless stated, contamination, modification, damage during installation, normal wear and tear, or failure caused by an unrelated vehicle fault. Warranty claims may require the part to be returned for inspection and/or supplier testing before the claim is accepted. Any advance replacement is discretionary.
