Description
This rear wiper motor assembly replaces the original unit fitted to Land Rover Discovery 2, and also suits late Discovery 1 models from VIN JA021176 onwards.
With age, the rear motor often becomes slow, noisy or stops working altogether – especially on vehicles where the tailgate glass and wiper spindle have seen a lot of road dirt and moisture. Replacing the complete motor and bracket assembly is usually the simplest and most reliable fix.

- Rear wiper slow or intermittent
- Wiper stops mid-sweep or won’t start at all
- Motor noisy, rough or getting hot in use
- Rear wiper no longer self-parks at the correct position

Reuses the existing wiring plug and wiper arm. Access behind the tailgate trim can be tight, so take care with clips and seals during removal and refit.
