Defender wiper motor park switch LR057182G
The wiper motor park switch tells the front wiper motor where to stop when the wipers are switched off. If the wipers stop in the wrong position, fail to return to the bottom of the screen, or behave inconsistently at the end of the wipe cycle, the park switch is one of the parts to check.
Earlier park switch part number 520160 supersedes to LR057182. Use this Lucas OEM switch where your Defender front wiper motor requires 520160 or LR057182.
If the wiper motor itself is slow, noisy, weak or unreliable, a complete replacement wiper motor may be the better option, as a new motor is supplied with its own correct park switch fitted. For complete motor replacement, choose the correct Defender front wiper motor for your vehicle: RTC3867G for Defender models up to around 2001 or LR082012G for Defender 2002–2016 models.
