Ravenol coolant concentrate for Classic Land Rover cooling systems
Ravenol ETC Concentrate Protect C12evo is an antifreeze/coolant concentrate for Land Rover engines requiring conventional coolant. It is based on 1,2-ethanediol, also known as monoethylene glycol, and uses modern Si-OAT technology for long-term radiator protection.
This coolant protects the cooling system against corrosion, frost and overheating. Ravenol’s Si-OAT formulation uses organic acids together with mineral silicates to help protect the metals and metal alloys used in cooling systems, including aluminium.
Use this coolant when refilling the cooling system after radiator, water pump, thermostat, heater matrix or hose work, or when carrying out a full coolant change. For best results, clean the cooling system, check for leaks and flush before refilling, especially where the existing coolant is old, contaminated or of unknown type.
This is concentrate, not ready-mixed coolant. Mix Ravenol ETC C12evo with distilled or demineralised water according to the mixing chart below. Do not use the concentrate undiluted. For most Land Rover cooling system work, the 50:50 mix is the simplest standard choice unless the vehicle or job requires otherwise.
Where the vehicle’s own service schedule gives a shorter coolant change interval, follow the vehicle schedule rather than relying only on the coolant’s maximum protection period.

Ravenol recommends a 50:50 mix by volume. The antifreeze concentrate proportion should be between 35% and 60%; otherwise the product will not have a sufficient effect.
