Engine cleaner for use before an oil change
Ravenol Professional Engine Cleaner is added to the existing engine oil shortly before an oil and filter change. It helps break down dirt, sludge and carbon deposits so they can be removed when the used oil is drained.
Use it when old oil is heavily soiled, an oil change has been delayed, sludge is suspected, or hydraulic tappet noise may be linked to dirty oil. It can also be used before switching an engine onto Ravenol engine oil for the first time.
How to use Ravenol Professional Engine Cleaner
- Run the engine until it reaches normal operating temperature
- Add the full 300ml bottle to the existing engine oil
- Run or drive the engine for 15–20 minutes
- Drain the old engine oil while warm
- Replace the oil filter and refill with fresh engine oil

Warranty
Buy with confidence: all new parts sold by Twinwoods 4x4 include at least 12 months manufacturer warranty against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.
Some products and brands may include a longer warranty period where this is provided by the manufacturer. Where applicable, this will normally be stated on the individual product page or covered by the manufacturer’s own warranty terms.
Warranty cover applies to manufacturing defects. It does not cover misuse, incorrect fitting, competition use unless stated, contamination, modification, damage during installation, normal wear and tear, or failure caused by an unrelated vehicle fault. For certain components, proof of professional fitment may be required.
Warranty claims may require the part to be returned for inspection and/or supplier testing before the claim is accepted. Any advance replacement is discretionary.
Warranty remedies relate to the part itself, meaning repair or replacement, or refund if those are not possible. Warranty does not cover labour, removal or refitting, diagnostics, consumables, travel or other incidental costs.
