9mm swivel housing oil seal
This Corteco OEM swivel housing oil seal fits Land Rover front axle swivel applications where the 9mm seal is required. It is used on Defender, Discovery 1 and Range Rover Classic front axles according to vehicle and axle specification.
The 9mm thickness is the key fitment point. Check the vehicle application, axle type or existing seal if there is any doubt, especially on Discovery 1 and Range Rover Classic models where front axle and ABS specification can affect swivel seal fitment.

Corteco is the aftermarket brand of the Freudenberg Group.
Fruedenberg is a company with 170 years of history. Originally founded in 1849 as a leather tannery, it wasn't until 1932 when Freudenburg entered the seal business.
In 1957, Freudenburg first got involved in vibration control technology by engineering and manufacturing shock absorbers and bushings under the name Matalastik. In the same year, Freudenburg entered a partnership with Italian seal manufacturer Corte & Cosso. This partnership is where the Corteco name came from. In fact, the name Corteco in Italian is the term used for sealing ring or rotating shaft.

The warranty covers manufacturing defects only and does not cover failure caused by incorrect fitting, misuse, accidental damage, normal wear and tear, or faults elsewhere on the vehicle.
