Td5 EGR valve removal kit for Defender and Discovery 2
This Terrafirma TFEGR01 EGR removal kit is made for Defender Td5 and Discovery 2 Td5 models. It replaces the original EGR valve assembly with a straight-through intake tube and blanks the exhaust feed, removing the EGR restriction from the intake side of the engine.
These kits are commonly fitted where the original EGR valve is sticking, clogged with soot and oily residue, or being removed during intake, turbo hose or intercooler work. Removing the EGR assembly can help keep the inlet tract cleaner over time, especially on older Td5 engines that have built up carbon deposits through the intake system.
EGR removal or blanking may not be legal for road use in all countries or regions because it alters the original emissions-control system. Check the road-use, MOT, emissions and insurance requirements that apply to your vehicle before fitting. Where required, this type of part should be treated as off-road, competition or export use only.

The warranty covers manufacturing defects only and does not cover failure caused by incorrect fitting, misuse, accidental damage, normal wear and tear, or faults elsewhere on the vehicle.
