200TDI and 300TDI engine breather replacement
This engine cyclone breather fits Land Rover 200TDI and 300TDI engines using part number ERR1471. It is part of the crankcase ventilation system and separates oil vapour so the oil can drain back into the engine while the air is returned to the inlet system.
A blocked or restricted breather can increase crankcase pressure and draw more oil vapour into the intake. Symptoms can include excessive oil mist in the inlet pipework, oil being pulled into the air intake, breather contamination or general crankcase ventilation issues.
