Green-top coolant temperature sender replacement
AMR1425 is the green-top coolant temperature sender used on selected Land Rover 300TDI, MPi and V8 models. The live fitment data places this sender next to the thermostat, including Defender 300TDI, Discovery 1 2.0 MPi, Discovery 1 300TDI, Discovery 1 V8, Range Rover Classic 300TDI, Range Rover Classic V8 and Range Rover P38 V8 applications.
A failing temperature sender can cause incorrect, intermittent or missing temperature readings. If the gauge or temperature reading is not behaving normally, this is a sensible part to check where the vehicle uses the AMR1425 green-top sender.
Several temperature senders and sensors are used across these engines, so match the part number, colour and sender position before ordering.
