Discovery 1 front left brake caliper replacement
This STC1963 front left brake caliper fits Land Rover Discovery 1 models with solid front brake discs. It is supplied as a single LH front caliper for replacing one side of the front braking system.
Front brake calipers are commonly replaced when the piston is seized, the caliper is leaking, the brake is binding, or the pads are wearing unevenly from one side to the other. If both front calipers are in similar condition, replacing them as a pair is usually the better repair.
This caliper is for solid front disc applications. If you are replacing both sides, see the matching STC1962 front right brake caliper. If your vehicle has vented front discs, use the vented front brake calipers instead.
