Defender Puma TDCI paper oil filter element
This MANN HU711/51X oil filter element fits Defender Puma TDCI engines using the earlier plastic oil filter housing. It is the paper element filter used on Defender 2.4 TDCI models and early 2.2 TDCI models where the same filter housing is fitted.
The important distinction on Puma Defender oil filters is the housing type. This LR030778 filter is the paper element that fits inside the reusable plastic housing. It is not the later metal spin-on oil filter used on later 2.2 TDCI engines.
If you are servicing a 2.4 TDCI Defender, this filter is also included in our Defender Puma 2.4 TDCI service kit with paper oil filter. If your vehicle has the later metal spin-on filter, use the Defender Puma 2.2 spin-on oil filter instead.

Warranty cover applies to manufacturing defects. It does not cover misuse, incorrect fitting, competition use unless stated, contamination, modification, damage during installation, normal wear and tear, or failure caused by an unrelated vehicle fault. For certain components, proof of professional fitment may be required.
Warranty claims may require the part to be returned for inspection and/or supplier testing before the claim is accepted. Any advance replacement is discretionary.
