Description

Tool for drum brake and transmission handbrake spring washers

This brake spring washer tool is for removing and refitting the T-slot anti-rattle spring washers used in drum brake assemblies. It is especially useful when working on Land Rover transmission handbrakes, where access around the backplate can be limited and the spring washers can be awkward to hold and turn with pliers.

The bevelled and notched cup fits spring washers from 16–22mm diameter, helping you press and rotate the washer in a controlled way during removal or refitting. The hardened and tempered carbon steel shank and cup give the tool a solid working end, with a square-section handle for grip when working around brake dust, grease or underbody parts.

A practical tool to keep with your brake and handbrake service tools, especially if you work on Defender, Discovery, Range Rover Classic or other Land Rover models with transmission handbrake assemblies.

The warranty covers manufacturing defects only and does not cover failure caused by incorrect fitting, misuse, accidental damage, normal wear and tear, or faults elsewhere on the vehicle.

Warranty claims may require the part to be returned for inspection and testing before any repair, replacement or refund is authorised.
