Replacement LT230 transmission handbrake adjuster kit
ICW500020 is the adjuster kit for the LT230 transmission handbrake assembly. It is used on Land Rover models with the relevant LT230 transmission brake setup, including Defender, Discovery 1, Discovery 2 and other LT230 applications.
The handbrake adjuster is a small but important part of the transmission brake assembly. If the original adjuster is seized, rounded, worn or corroded, it can make the handbrake difficult to set correctly even when the shoes and other parts are serviceable.
This is a sensible replacement when rebuilding the transmission handbrake, fitting new shoes, or refreshing tired handbrake hardware. Check the existing handbrake assembly before ordering if you are working on an early, modified or transitional vehicle.
