Description
The rear door on a Land Rover Defender works hard, especially when it is carrying the weight of a spare wheel. Over time the original hinges wear, seize and rust, causing the door to drop, rattle and become difficult to close.
This Defender Rear Door Hinge Kit DA1240SS is a complete replacement kit for the side-hinged rear door, supplied with new hinges and stainless steel fixings. It is ideal when you are repainting the rear door, repairing corrosion around the hinges or simply tidying up a tired Defender.
Fresh hinges help restore correct alignment of the rear door, improve latch engagement and reduce rattles. The stainless steel hardware is far more resistant to corrosion than the original mild steel fixings and makes future strip-downs much easier.
