Description
Elring® Dirko™ HT silicone sealant for Land Rover repairs
Dirko™ HT is a high-temperature RTV silicone sealant from Elring®. It is used for forming flexible seals on suitable flanged joints, covers, housings and other workshop sealing jobs where this type of silicone sealant is specified.
Typical Land Rover jobs include sump pans, timing covers, rocker covers, axle covers, gearbox covers and similar joints where a flexible oil-resistant seal is required. The black finish gives a tidy appearance on engine and driveline components.
This is not a universal gasket replacement. Use the correct sealing product for the joint you are working on, and do not use RTV silicone where an anaerobic sealant, formed gasket or specific Land Rover sealing method is required.

Warranty
Buy with confidence: all new parts sold by Twinwoods 4x4 include at least 12 months manufacturer warranty against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.
Some products and brands may include a longer warranty period where this is provided by the manufacturer. Where applicable, this will normally be stated on the individual product page or covered by the manufacturer’s own warranty terms.
Warranty cover applies to manufacturing defects. It does not cover misuse, incorrect fitting, competition use unless stated, contamination, modification, damage during installation, normal wear and tear, or failure caused by an unrelated vehicle fault. For certain components, proof of professional fitment may be required.
Warranty claims may require the part to be returned for inspection and/or supplier testing before the claim is accepted. Any advance replacement is discretionary.
Warranty remedies relate to the part itself, meaning repair or replacement, or refund if those are not possible. Warranty does not cover labour, removal or refitting, diagnostics, consumables, travel or other incidental costs.
