Hylomar 3400 anaerobic gasket compound for metal-to-metal joints
Hylomar 3400 is a modified anaerobic curing gasket compound designed to form a cured gasket between close-fitting metal faces. It is suitable for machined engine and transmission sealing faces where resistance to temperature, vibration and fretting is required.
On Land Rover Td5 engines, this type of anaerobic sealant is commonly used between the camshaft carriage and cylinder head. It is also useful for other metal-to-metal sealing jobs where the joint design calls for an anaerobic formed-in-place gasket compound.
Apply to clean, dry surfaces free from oil and grease, then assemble the joint as soon as practical after application. For other sealing products, see our Land Rover sealants range.

Warranty
Buy with confidence: all new parts sold by Twinwoods 4x4 include at least 12 months manufacturer warranty against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.
Some products and brands may include a longer warranty period where this is provided by the manufacturer. Where applicable, this will normally be stated on the individual product page or covered by the manufacturer’s own warranty terms.
Warranty cover applies to manufacturing defects. It does not cover misuse, incorrect fitting, competition use unless stated, contamination, modification, damage during installation, normal wear and tear, or failure caused by an unrelated vehicle fault. For certain components, proof of professional fitment may be required.
Warranty claims may require the part to be returned for inspection and/or supplier testing before the claim is accepted. Any advance replacement is discretionary.
Warranty remedies relate to the part itself, meaning repair or replacement, or refund if those are not possible. Warranty does not cover labour, removal or refitting, diagnostics, consumables, travel or other incidental costs.
This warranty is in addition to your legal rights and does not reduce those rights.
