Inline petrol fuel filter for Defender, Discovery 1, Range Rover Classic and P38
This ESR4065 inline fuel filter fits selected Land Rover petrol models, including Defender, Discovery 1, Range Rover Classic and P38 Range Rover applications. It is used on models with 2.0 MPi, 2.8 6-cylinder, 3.9, 4.0 and 4.6 Rover V8 petrol engines, where ESR4065 is the specified fuel filter.
A restricted petrol fuel filter can reduce fuel flow and contribute to hesitation, poor running, loss of power under load or fuel starvation symptoms. If the filter is old, unknown or being disturbed during fuel system work, replacement is a sensible service step.
Fitment depends on model, engine and VIN range. This filter is listed for Defender petrol models to 2006, Discovery 1 from VIN TA190114, Range Rover Classic from VIN JA610294, and P38 Range Rover from VIN TA333755 to VIN WA410481. It replaces Land Rover part numbers ESR4065, NTC6936 and ESR3117.
