Description
Drive member gasket for early Defender hubs
FRC3988 is the paper gasket used between the drive member, also known as the drive flange, and the hub on Defender front and rear axle applications up to VIN KA930455. It is supplied here as a pack of 10 gaskets.
Use these gaskets when removing and refitting the drive member during hub, half shaft, wheel bearing or axle work. A fresh gasket helps prevent oil and grease weeping from the drive member joint after reassembly.
Check the vehicle application before fitting. This gasket is for Defender models up to VIN KA930455 where FRC3988 is specified. Later vehicles may use a different sealing arrangement or drive member setup.

Warranty
Buy with confidence: all new parts sold by Twinwoods 4x4 include at least 12 months manufacturer warranty against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.
Some products and brands may include a longer warranty period where this is provided by the manufacturer. Where applicable, this will normally be stated on the individual product page or covered by the manufacturer’s own warranty terms.
Warranty cover applies to manufacturing defects. It does not cover misuse, incorrect fitting, competition use unless stated, contamination, modification, damage during installation, normal wear and tear, or failure caused by an unrelated vehicle fault. For certain components, proof of professional fitment may be required.
Warranty claims may require the part to be returned for inspection and/or supplier testing before the claim is accepted. Any advance replacement is discretionary.
Warranty remedies relate to the part itself, meaning repair or replacement, or refund if those are not possible. Warranty does not cover labour, removal or refitting, diagnostics, consumables, travel or other incidental costs.
