Early Discovery 2 bonnet release cable
FSE000010 is a replacement bonnet release cable for early Discovery 2 models up to VIN 2A754215. It runs between the interior bonnet release handle and the bonnet latch mechanism, allowing the bonnet to be opened from inside the vehicle.
Bonnet release cables can stretch, seize, fray or break with age. If the bonnet release handle feels loose, needs excessive force, or no longer opens the bonnet cleanly, replacing the cable is a sensible repair before the bonnet becomes difficult to open.
