Description
Diesel fuel filter for Series and early Defender models
This Delphi fuel filter element fits Series diesel and early Defender diesel models using the older pre-Tdi fuel filter assembly. It is used on Series 2/2A and Series 3 diesel models, along with early Defender, Ninety and One Ten models fitted with 2.25 diesel, 2.5 naturally aspirated diesel or 2.5 Turbo Diesel engines.
A restricted fuel filter can reduce fuel flow and contribute to poor running, loss of power, difficult starting or fuel starvation under load. Replacing the fuel filter during routine servicing helps protect the injection pump and injectors from dirt and contamination in the fuel system.
This fuel filter is for older diesel engines, not 200Tdi, 300Tdi, Td5 or Puma/TDCI models. If you are servicing an early diesel Defender, you may also want to view our 2.5 NA and 2.5 Turbo Diesel service kits or browse related Defender fuel system parts.
