Wabco ABS modulator valve kit for Discovery 2 repairs
This Wabco OEM ABS modulator control valve kit (SWO500040) fits Land Rover Discovery 2 models. It includes the SWO500030 shuttle valve switch and is used for repairs to the Discovery 2 ABS modulator control valve / shuttle valve area.
The Discovery 2 ABS system can trigger ABS, traction control and hill descent warning lights for several reasons. This kit is only the right repair when the fault has been traced to the ABS modulator / shuttle valve area, rather than to a wheel speed sensor, hub, wiring fault or another part of the braking system.
Because this is a high-value braking system part, diagnosis matters. Check the fault codes and confirm the cause before ordering, especially if the vehicle has intermittent warning lights or previous ABS repair history.
