WJN500150 | TD5 Fuel Filter Housing – Defender & Discovery 2
Plain TD5 fuel filter housing (WJN500150) for Defender TD5 and Discovery 2 TD5 vehicles where no water-in-fuel sensor is fitted. It replaces the rear chassis-mounted filter housing and is supplied with the fuel filter, air bleed valve, non-return valve and fittings needed to build the housing back up correctly.

Description
WJN500150 is the plain TD5 fuel filter housing for Defender TD5 and Discovery 2 TD5 models with no water-in-fuel sensor fitted. The housing sits on the rear chassis, where corrosion, old fittings and disturbed valves can cause diesel smells, visible leaks, air ingress, difficult bleeding or starting trouble after the vehicle has been standing. This no-sensor housing is supplied with the fuel filter, air bleed valve, non-return valve and fittings, making it the correct WJN500150 variant where a water-in-fuel sensor is not being used.

Fitment Notes
Fits Defender TD5 and Discovery 2 TD5 vehicles where the plain fuel filter housing without a water-in-fuel sensor is required. TD5 fuel filter housings are very similar, but the kit part number changes depending on whether the housing is supplied without a sensor, with the Defender water-in-fuel sensor, or with the Discovery 2 water-in-fuel sensor.

The air bleed valve and non-return valve must be fitted in the correct ports if the housing has been stripped. The TD5 fuel filter housing air bleed valve guide shows the valve layout, and the TD5 fuel filter housing fixing kit is the matching bolt kit if the original chassis fixings are corroded.
