Replacement heater to oil cooler hose for Td5 cooling repairs
This Td5 heater to oil cooler hose (PBH101980) fits Defender Td5 and Discovery 2 Td5 models. It replaces the earlier ERR6689 hose and is part of the coolant hose routing around the Td5 oil cooler and heater circuit.
Old coolant hoses can become hard, swollen, cracked or oil-contaminated with age. If this hose is being disturbed during oil cooler, coolant hose or heater circuit work, replacing it at the same time can avoid refitting an ageing hose into a repaired cooling system.
When fitting, check the condition of the oil cooler area, hose clips and neighbouring coolant hoses. If the hose is being replaced as part of an oil cooler repair, inspect the oil cooler housing and related gaskets before reassembly.
