300TDI timing belt tensioner bolt replacement
SS110201E is the tensioner bolt used when working on the 300TDI timing belt tensioner. It is a small fixing, but worth replacing if the original bolt is rounded, corroded, damaged or has already been reused during previous timing belt work.
When the timing belt tensioner is being replaced, the fixing condition matters. A worn or damaged bolt can make correct assembly harder and may cause problems the next time the timing cover has to come apart.
Check the tensioner, idler, front cover gasket and sealing washer while the front timing cover is removed. Supplied as a single bolt; timing belt, tensioner, idler, gasket and sealing washer are not included unless ordered separately or purchased as part of a kit.
