Blue alloy coolant bleed screw for Defender Td5 and Discovery 2 Td5 engines. This upgraded bleed screw (PYP10008BLUE) replaces the original plastic screw in the top radiator hose, giving a stronger and more reusable fitting for cooling system bleeding.

Description
Alloy bleed screw upgrade for Td5 cooling systems
This blue alloy Td5 coolant bleed screw (PYP10008BLUE) fits Defender Td5 and Discovery 2 Td5 engines. It replaces the original plastic bleed screw fitted in the top radiator hose.
The original plastic bleed screw can become brittle with age and heat cycles. If it cracks, rounds off or shears when bleeding the cooling system, it can turn a simple coolant job into a much more awkward repair. This alloy version gives a stronger, reusable replacement with a knurled head for easier grip.
When fitting, make sure the cooling system is cold and do not overtighten the screw. Nip it up only enough to seal, and check the condition of the hose and sealing face before refilling or bleeding the system.
