Complete Td5 oil cooler repair kit for leaking oil cooler repairs
This complete Td5 oil cooler repair kit fits Defender Td5 and Discovery 2 Td5 engines. It is designed to replace the faulty oil cooler itself, along with the related gaskets, seals, banjo bolts and Dowty washers needed to carry out a more complete repair.
On many Td5 engines, the full PBC500230 oil cooler housing assembly does not need to be replaced if the casting is still serviceable. This kit is aimed at repairing the oil cooler area properly without paying for a complete housing assembly unnecessarily. The housing should still be checked carefully, especially around the oil pressure switch area, as damage can occur if the switch has previously been overtightened.
This kit is also a more complete option than basic oil cooler repair kits such as RK1127 / DA1127, because it includes the oil filter housing gasket and centrifugal oil filter housing O-ring as well as the oil cooler and cooler gasket.

Some products and brands may include a longer warranty period where this is provided by the manufacturer. Where applicable, this will normally be stated on the individual product page or covered by the manufacturer’s own warranty terms.
Warranty cover applies to manufacturing defects. It does not cover misuse, incorrect fitting, competition use unless stated, contamination, modification, damage during installation, normal wear and tear, or failure caused by an unrelated vehicle fault. For certain components, proof of professional fitment may be required.
Warranty claims may require the part to be returned for inspection and/or supplier testing before the claim is accepted. Any advance replacement is discretionary.
