Short Td5 engine oil filter for limited-clearance installations
This LPX100590XD short oil filter fits Defender Td5 and Discovery 2 Td5 engines. It is a shorter Britpart service filter intended for situations where access or clearance around the standard Td5 engine oil filter is limited.
Where possible, we normally recommend using a standard quality Td5 oil filter from Mahle, MANN or Genuine Land Rover. This short filter is useful when the standard full-size filter is difficult to fit, remove or clear against nearby components.
This is the screw-on Td5 engine oil filter, not the separate centrifugal rotor filter. If your vehicle has normal clearance, see our Genuine Land Rover LPX100590 Td5 oil filter or standard LPX100590 Td5 oil filter. For a full oil service, the separate ERR6299 Td5 rotor oil filter is normally replaced at the same time.

Warranty cover applies to manufacturing defects. Warranty claims may require the part to be returned for inspection and/or supplier testing before the claim is accepted. Any advance replacement is discretionary.
Warranty remedies relate to the part itself, meaning repair or replacement, or refund if those are not possible. Warranty does not cover labour, removal or refitting, diagnostics, consumables, travel or other incidental costs.
