Replacement gasket for the Td5 coolant outlet elbow
This Td5 coolant elbow gasket fits the coolant outlet elbow / coolant temperature sensor housing on Defender Td5 and Discovery 2 Td5 engines. It is listed under part numbers LVJ000010 and ERR7032.
The gasket should be replaced if the coolant outlet elbow has been removed, if there is coolant staining around the housing, or if the joint is being disturbed during cooling system repairs. On older Td5 engines, the outlet elbow itself can also corrode or pit around the hose sealing area.
When refitting, check the condition of the coolant outlet elbow, mating face and fixing bolts before reassembly. If the elbow is badly corroded or damaged, replacing the gasket alone may not cure the leak.
