Description
Defender solid rear halfshaft upgrade kit for vehicles with a 24 spline Rover differential rear axle. Most pre-Puma Defenders used separate rear halfshafts and drive flanges, similar to the front axle setup. Over time the drive flange splines can wear, causing rear axle clunk and, if left long enough, loss of drive.
This kit uses the later one-piece rear halfshaft design, replacing the earlier separate shaft and drive flange arrangement. Removing that separate rear drive flange spline joint helps eliminate the common clunk caused by worn rear flanges.
Rover diff or Salisbury rear axle?
This kit fits Defender rear axles with the Rover differential only. It is not suitable for Salisbury rear axles. If you have a Defender 110 or 130 with a Salisbury rear axle, use the Defender 110/130 Salisbury rear halfshaft and drive flange kit instead.

Warranty cover applies to manufacturing defects. It does not cover misuse, incorrect fitting, competition use unless stated, contamination, modification, damage during installation, normal wear and tear, or failure caused by an unrelated vehicle fault. For certain components, proof of professional fitment may be required.
Warranty claims may require the part to be returned for inspection and/or supplier testing before the claim is accepted. Any advance replacement is discretionary.
