OEM 24 spline drive flange (RUC105200G) for selected Land Rover Defender, Discovery 1 and Range Rover Classic axles. A worn drive flange can cause backlash, spline wear and the familiar clunk when taking up drive, so this is a sensible replacement when refreshing the hub and half shaft area.

Description
OEM 24 spline drive flange for Defender, Discovery 1 and Range Rover Classic
This OEM drive flange replaces the splined drive member on selected Land Rover Defender, Discovery 1 and Range Rover Classic axles. It is the 24 spline solid flange type used where RUC105200G is the correct part number.
Drive flanges wear where the internal splines meet the half shaft splines. Once wear develops, you may notice a clunk when pulling away, changing gear or moving between drive and overrun. Replacing worn flanges helps reduce backlash and can prevent further wear to the mating half shaft splines.
This flange is supplied bare. When fitting, inspect the half shaft splines carefully and replace any badly worn shafts at the same time. We also recommend using fresh drive flange bolts and a new drive member gasket. If your existing rubber cap is perished or leaking, see the Defender drive flange rubber end cap.
