Polyurethane replacement boot for Land Rover steering joints
This polyurethane boot is for compatible Land Rover steering ball joints where the original rubber boot has split, perished or been damaged. It suits Defender drop arm ball joints, Defender / Discovery 1 / Range Rover Classic track rod ends and the Defender-type track rod ends used on the heavy duty steering bars we offer.
The double-convoluted polyurethane design gives the boot more movement as the steering joint works, making it a good upgrade for maintained steering joints, heavy duty steering bars and hard-used Land Rovers.
When fitting this boot to a greaseable joint, do not fit the smaller lower retaining clip. This allows excess grease to purge from the joint and helps stop the boot ballooning or popping off during greasing.

Standard UK shipments are normally sent with DPD. UK orders containing oils or fluids are normally sent with DHL where required, because some carriers restrict liquid shipments.

Warranty
Buy with confidence: all new parts sold by Twinwoods 4x4 include at least 12 months manufacturer warranty against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.
Some products and brands may include a longer warranty period where this is provided by the manufacturer. Where applicable, this will normally be stated on the individual product page or covered by the manufacturer’s own warranty terms.
Warranty cover applies to manufacturing defects. It does not cover misuse, incorrect fitting, competition use unless stated, contamination, modification, damage during installation, normal wear and tear, or failure caused by an unrelated vehicle fault. For certain components, proof of professional fitment may be required.
Warranty claims may require the part to be returned for inspection and/or supplier testing before the claim is accepted. Any advance replacement is discretionary.
Warranty remedies relate to the part itself, meaning repair or replacement, or refund if those are not possible. Warranty does not cover labour, removal or refitting, diagnostics, consumables, travel or other incidental costs.
This warranty is in addition to your legal rights and does not reduce those rights.
