Drop arm ball joint kit for Defender, Discovery 1 and Range Rover Classic
The steering box drop arm ball joint connects the steering box drop arm to the drag link. When it wears, you can get steering play, vague steering, knocking through the linkage or an MOT issue for excessive movement at the drop arm joint.
This RBG000010G kit is for renewing the ball joint in the steering drop arm on Land Rover Defender, Discovery 1 and Range Rover Classic models using the RBG000010 drop arm joint. Use it where the drop arm itself is serviceable but the ball joint needs replacing.
Check the joint location before ordering
This kit is for the drop arm joint at the steering box. If the play is in a track rod end, drag link end or steering bar joint, you will need the correct steering linkage part instead.

Warranty
Buy with confidence: all new parts sold by Twinwoods 4x4 include at least 12 months manufacturer warranty against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.
Some products and brands may include a longer warranty period where this is provided by the manufacturer. Where applicable, this will normally be stated on the individual product page or covered by the manufacturer’s own warranty terms.
Warranty cover applies to manufacturing defects. It does not cover misuse, incorrect fitting, competition use unless stated, contamination, modification, damage during installation, normal wear and tear, or failure caused by an unrelated vehicle fault. For certain components, proof of professional fitment may be required.
Warranty claims may require the part to be returned for inspection and/or supplier testing before the claim is accepted. Any advance replacement is discretionary.
Warranty remedies relate to the part itself, meaning repair or replacement, or refund if those are not possible. Warranty does not cover labour, removal or refitting, diagnostics, consumables, travel or other incidental costs.
This warranty is in addition to your legal rights and does not reduce those rights.
