Description
RAVENOL VMP SAE 5W-30 is a PAO-based, fully synthetic mid-SAPS engine oil from the USVO® range, supplied here in a 5 litre can. It is formulated for modern petrol and diesel passenger-car engines with or without turbocharging and direct injection, including DPF and three-way catalyst systems where ACEA C3 or one of the stated manufacturer approvals is required. The combination of BMW Longlife-04, Mercedes-Benz 229.51, Porsche C30 and Volkswagen 504 00 / 507 00 approvals is the main reason VMP has become such a widely used 5W-30.
USVO® Fully Synthetic Formulation
Ravenol’s USVO® formulation is designed to reduce dependence on polymeric viscosity improvers, giving high viscosity stability and strong resistance to shear and oxidation throughout the oil-change interval. Good cold-start performance helps the oil circulate quickly from cold, while the reduced-ash additive package supports DPF and three-way catalyst protection. Extended service intervals should only be used where permitted by the vehicle manufacturer.
