Choose the right Ravenol USVO engine oil
The oils in the USVO range share Ravenol's high-stability lubricant technology, but each product has its own viscosity, specifications and intended engine use. ECS, FES, SFE, FDS, VMP and RUP should therefore be treated as six separate engine oils rather than interchangeable versions of the same product.

What does Ravenol USVO mean?
USVO stands for Ultra Strong Viscosity Oil and refers to Ravenol's high-viscosity-stability lubricant technology. The range uses high-quality fully synthetic base oils and carefully matched additive systems to maintain stable lubrication across cold starts, normal road use and high operating temperatures.
USVO does not define a viscosity grade or engine specification. A 0W-20 ECS, 0W-30 FES and 5W-40 RUP can all use USVO technology while being intended for completely different engines and operating conditions.
Match the oil to the manufacturer specification or approval required by the engine.
USVO oils span several viscosity grades, so the USVO name does not make 0W-20, 0W-30, 5W-20, 5W-30 and 5W-40 interchangeable.
Check whether the required manufacturer specification is a formal approval or a Ravenol recommendation on the individual product page.
Normal servicing, emissions-system requirements, Defender Puma use and extreme TD5 tuning place very different demands on an engine oil.
