Defender 110 / 130 Td5 fuel pump replacement
The Defender 110 / 130 Td5 fuel pump sits inside the fuel tank and is supplied as a complete pump and sender unit assembly. This OEM VDO / Continental pump is the premium replacement option for Defender 110 and 130 Td5 models, with the fuel pump and fuel level sender supplied as one complete unit.
Defender 90, Defender 110/130 and Discovery 2 Td5 models use different pump and sender assemblies, so match the pump to the vehicle rather than buying by engine alone.
A weak or failing Td5 fuel pump can cause noisy pump operation, poor starting, cutting out under load, low fuel pressure or uneven running. If the fault is not clear, a physical fuel pressure test is the best way to confirm fuel delivery before replacing parts.
