Defender 110 rear propshaft replacement
This FTC4198 Hardy Spicer rear propshaft is a complete replacement rear propshaft for Land Rover Defender 110 Td5 models from 2002 onwards. It is suitable for 110 vehicles with the later non-Salisbury rear axle setup.
FTC4198 is commonly listed for Defender 110 Td5 models from chassis number 2A638134 onwards. It is not the same as the later Puma / TDCI rear propshaft, so the axle and model year should be checked before ordering.
A worn rear propshaft can cause vibration, knocking, clunking on take-up or play in the universal joints. Wear is more likely if the vehicle has been used off road, used with poor lubrication or driven with tired universal joints.
For best results, replace the propshaft fixings during installation. Fit this propshaft with a fresh propshaft nut and bolt kit and use suitable grease where required.
