Discovery 2 automatic gearbox service kit
This kit is for Discovery 2 Td5 and V8 automatic models with the ZF 4HP22/24 gearbox family. It gives you the filter, sump gasket/seals and Ravenol ATF needed for a normal sump-off oil and filter service in one order.
What is included
Supplied with the ZF 4HP22 automatic transmission filter kit and 6 × 1L bottles of Ravenol ATF 5/4 HP. The filter kit includes the automatic gearbox filter, sump gasket and seals.
Why Ravenol ATF 5/4 HP?
Ravenol ATF 5/4 HP is a fully synthetic transmission fluid formulated for ZF 4- and 5-speed automatic gearboxes. It is a strong choice for the Discovery 2 4HP application where oil quality matters for shift feel, heat stability and long-term gearbox service life.
Why 6 litres?
This kit uses 6L as the standard quantity for a normal sump-off service. The full dry gearbox capacity is higher, but a routine drain does not empty the torque converter. Add extra Ravenol ATF 5/4 HP if you want to carry out additional drain and refill cycles.
Useful add-ons

Warranty cover applies to manufacturing defects.
